The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council has released a report on infections that patients contracted while in hospitals. The report is billed as the first in the nation to identify the actual number of infections reported by Pennsylvania's 168 individual hospitals. The Council also has other studies on the costs and quality of health care in Pennsylvania. |
