Lancaster County Victims' Fund PDF Print E-mail

People are looking to do whatever they can to come to the aid of the families affected by the Amish schoolhouse shootings in Lancaster County.  Several funds have been established.  

 

 

A group called the Nickel Mines Accountability Committee has been established to disperse the donations received for the families of the Nickel Mines shooting. They are asking that only monetary donations be made. The Mennonite Central Committee and  Mennonite Disaster Services will be working directly with the committee in collecting donations.
 
The Anabaptist Foundation, at the request of the Amish community, has established a fund called Anabaptist Foundation Nickel Mines School Victims Fund.  An account set up through the foundation will be administered for medical care, transportation and other support by the Nickel Mines Accountability Committee, a newly formed group of Amish community leaders. 
 
Coatesville Savings Bank has established a fund for all necessary help and solace for the bereaved.  CLICK HERE for information on how and where you can send a donation. 
 
At the request of the Amish Community, a fund has been established at the HomeTowne Heritage Bank division of National Penn Bank for the victims and families of the Nickel Mines School tragedy in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.  CLICK HERE for information on how and where you can send a donation.  
 
Turkey Hill Minit Markets is making a corporate donation as well as collecting donations from customers and employees through November 1st at all 238 of their stores. The donations will be used to cover medical expenses and materials to build a new schoolhouse.
