 You'll truly be amazed by The Seven Tubs Nature Area in Luzerne County. Get a close-up view of seven large "potholes," or "tubs," gouged out of the Pocono formation by Wheelbarrow Run. Geologists believe they were formed more than 10,000 years ago.The tubs opened to the public in 1992. They are part of a 532 acre site owned by Luzerne County, and are located in the Laurel Run Valley between Wyoming and the Wilkes-Barre Mountains about four miles southeast of downtown Wilkes-Barre.
