Lancaster County - US-222 Project |

Work started June 24, 2009 on a project to repair and resurface a section of Route 222 north of the City of Lancaster.
The contractor is in the process of removing the single-lane traffic restrictions that have been in place since August on Route 222 between Brownstown and Farmersville Road. The southbound direction was restored to two lanes of traffic soon after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18th. Weather permitting, the northbound direction should be restored to two lanes of traffic by the end of the day on Thursday, November 19th. PennDOT will issue an announcement when the northbound single-lane restriction has been completely removed.
This project will resume next spring. |
