Work began Monday, Nov. 16 on a project to improve PA 924 in Frackville Borough and West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County. The contract will also improve PA 61 in Frackville Borough.
Work to improve the Fifth Street Highway (Business Route 222) in the City of Reading, Muhlenberg and Ontelaunee townships in Berks County started Oct. 19.
Work continues on the PA 309 project between the Bucks County Line and Fairmount Street in Coopersburg Borough and Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County.
Work to rehabilitate the State Street Bridge over the Schuylkill River in Hamburg Borough and Tilden Township, Berks County, will begin Monday (August 17).
Motorists traveling northbound and southbound on the PA Turnpike's Northeastern Extension (I-476) will be stopped a maximum of 20 minutes, south of the Lehigh Tunnel and north of the Mahoning Valley (Exit #74) Interchange.
A project to improve the US 222 Outer Bypass in Wyomissing Borough, Bern, Maiden Creek, Muhlenberg, Ontelaunee and Spring Townships, Berks County begins Monday, July 20.
