Raised in Delaware County, Jackie is
thrilled to call Pennsylvania home once again. The oldest of three kids,
Jackie is also the extrovert - her parents are happy she found a job
where she makes a living by asking lots of questions!
She joined WFMZ in June 2008, after spending two years reporting for
Central Florida News 13 in Orlando, Florida. In the Sunshine State, she
covered a wide variety of Florida news - tornadoes, brush fires,
tropical storms, NASCAR in Daytona Beach, and the 2008 Presidential
Primary. Before she moved to Florida, Jackie lived in the midwest, spending a
year as a reporter for KMEG14 in Sioux City, Iowa.
She also worked on the assignment desk at KYW-TV in Philadelphia, and
produced the weekend news at WTVH in Syracuse.
Jackie graduated from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of
Public Communications in May 2003 -- the same year the Orange won their
one and only men's basketball championship! While she was in college, she
interned for NBC10 in Philadelphia, and the NBC Network's London Bureau
during her semester abroad in England.
Life as a reporter is an adventure -- constantly meeting new people,
learning new things, and trekking all over the country . Jackie loves
the challenges this career brings her. In her spare time, she enjoys
trying new restaurants, spending time with family, reading, and cheering
for (and crying over) the Eagles and Phillies.
