Lincoln, Nebraska where she primarily worked as the Weekend Morning
Meteorologist but also spent time co-anchoring, reporting and working
severe weather.
Amanda grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. She received her meteorology
degree from the University of Missouri, where she was part of the
University Storm Chasers Club, Alpha Phi Sorority and the International

Atmospheric Science Department. Amanda became a member of the American

Amanda has always been very interested in weather, even when she was a

with weather…and the rest is history.
Amanda enjoys spending free time with family and friends, being
outdoors, listening to live music, doing yoga, shopping and playing with
her spoiled Shitz Tzu dog Lily.
