    The 4th of July holiday weekend has officially begun. On Friday, a different kind of celebration in Easton. Shortly after the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, Easton was one of three locations where the it was publicly read. On Friday Night, the eve of our nation's 233rd birthday, concerned citizens again gathered in Easton, to talk about what they say is an erosion of their rights. WFMZ's Bo Koltnow was there and has more.

    Just hours before the start of Independence Day, 2009, a ceremony in Pottstown calls us to remember those who've made great sacrifices to protect our country's freedoms. WFMZ's Dwayne Parker has the story.      | ||

    Their arrests have become the talk of the town. Four teachers, among 33 people, charged yesterday in an Oxycontin drug ring bust in Warren County, New Jersey. WFMZ's Joscelyn Moes has reaction from parents and students.

    As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our nation, one local community is celebrating the rebirth of a neighborhood. And today, they came together under one symbol to show their progress. WFMZ's Melissa Fullerton reports.

    For 60 years, the Kutztown Folk Festival has been offering down-home entertainment to thousands, thanks to some dedicated participants. The faithful helpers have seen a lot of changes over the years. WFMZ's Dwayne Parker reports.
